Which team will my child be assigned to?
Cheerleaders are assigned to teams by age.

JVE: Kindergarten
E TEAM: 1st & 2nd Grade
D TEAM: 3rd & 4th Grade
C TEAM: 5th & 6th Grade
A TEAM: 7th & 8th Grade
Who needs to provide a birth certificate?
Any new cheerleader who has not previously provided a birth certificate needs to provide a birth certificate at the beginning of the season. A copy of the child's birth certificate should be handed to the cheerleaders coach. If a birth certificate is not provided to the coach, the cheerleader will not be allowed to attend practice this may mean being placed on a game day team.
When are games and do we have to attend away games?
Games are held on a Saturday or Sunday. All cheerleader besides JVE (kindergarten) will attend away games. Games typically start the weekend after Labor Day. The schedule will be available to cheerleaders the week before Labor day.
When are practices?
​Practices vary based on practice site availability and coach availability. Practices can begin as early as August 1. Often times the August practice schedule is different than the Fall practice schedule. Coaches will do their best to provide the August practice schedule by June/July, and the Fall practice schedule by August. The cheer clinic is usually the 2nd week of August for all cheerleaders to review cheers and is held 2 evenings outdoors. Competition cheerleaders are expected to begin practices by the 2nd or 3rd week of August.
Are practices mandatory?
Competition practices are mandatory. It is extremely important all cheerleaders attend every practice. Cheerleading is a team sport. If someone is missing from practice it affects the whole team. Game Day practices are important but are less strict as long as notice us provided in advance to coach.
When will cheerleaders receive their practice schedule?
Cheerleaders will receive their practice schedule by the end of August.
When are competitions?
Competitions are held in late October, November and early Decemeber. Competition dates are TBD.
When will my child receive a uniform?
Each cheerleader will receive a uniform to have for the season. Uniforms will be passed out in August and will need to be returned at the end of the season.
Is there an option for ONLY Game Day cheerleaders?
Game Day is offered to all grades but teams may be capped.
Are full refunds available?
full refunds are not possible because funds are spent early on apparel and other items. Partial refunds are not issued after July 1st.
